Together with our college, university, and corporate partners, we are helping accelerate careers and transform lives.  What We’re Looking For: This senior analytics engineering role focuses on architecting and optimizing data pipelines and models that power Product Analytics, with an emphasis on eventing with e-commerce data.  The position is responsible for building scalable, reliable data sources that enable advanced analytics, tracking user behaviour, purchase funnels and core e-commerce metrics to drive data-driven decisions making across product, business and operational functions. The role partners closely with product and business stakeholders to develop trusted, actionable datasets that enhance visibility into customer engagement, enrollment patterns and e-commerce performance. It also provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior analytics engineers, influencing data architecture and project direction for business-critical, medium-to-high complexity data ecosystems spanning multiple product lines and functional areas Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Key Role and Responsibilities:  1. Technical  1. Cleanse and verify data integrity, enhancing data sources when required 2. Exhibit best coding practices, adeptness in pipeline builds, and proficiency in transformation tools 3. Analyse data to deliver data-driven insights using proven data mining techniques.  4. Visualise data insights, communicate findings, and engage in data engineering tasks to optimise data pipelines and enhance analytical capabilities 2. Business  1. Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to execute projects 2. Leverage business knowledge to enhance business performance 3. Help guide business when making technical decisions 3. Management  1. Effectively leverage knowledge, expertise and experience to lead and deliver projects 2. Effectively support and mentor analysts 4. Personal  1. Perform research and constantly stays on top of the industry’s trends 2. Engage and proactively seek opportunities for improvement through ongoing learning   Things That Should Be In Your Background: * 5-7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or similar technical fields. * Bachelor’s degree is required, with a concentration in a mathematical or analytical field preferred (i.e.: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) * Skilled in data analysis, data engineering and business intelligence * Advanced understanding of SQL, efficiently & effectively applies best coding practices and demonstrates ability to upskill/assist others * Advanced understanding of Python, efficiently & effectively apply best coding principles and demonstrates ability to upskill/assist others * Advanced understanding of DBT and demonstrates proficiency in building data pipelines while assisting in upskilling/assisting others * Skilled understanding of version control; efficiently create pull requests, collaborate, debug/track issues, document and host code * Independently develop complex data models * Experience with a reporting tool, such as Tableau Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role: * Demonstrates a solid understanding of product telemetry and event data, including supporting the validation and tracking of user journeys for product analytics. * Manages multiple projects, resolves challenges swiftly, delivers adaptable approaches, and values diverse opinions. * Takes ownership, anticipates new problems, tests solutions, and mentors others on effective problem-solving techniques. * Sets quarterly goals aligned with team objectives, tracks progress in Workday, and communicates barriers to the manager.
