Last Updated: June 10, 2026

Company: MirrAi Chat LTD (“Mirrai”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. 16403306), 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, UK. Contact: contact@mirrai.careers.

Service: Mirrai Careers (the “Service”), available at mirrai.careers — an online platform that includes an AI-powered resume builder, job-description matching, cover letter generation, an application tracker, and an AI-generated career plan (the “Career Plan”) based on your career test responses.

By creating an account, making a purchase, or using Mirrai Careers, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service includes the following features, which may change over time:

  • Resume Builder: upload an existing resume (PDF) or enter your details manually; the Service extracts and structures your work history, then lets you create tailored resume variants for specific job descriptions using AI, edit them, and export them as PDF files. Includes ATS readability preview.
  • Job Matching: paste a job description and receive an AI-generated analysis of how your profile matches it.
  • Cover Letter Generator: AI-generated cover letters based on your profile and a job description.
  • Application Tracker: a board for tracking your job applications and their statuses.
  • Career Test & Career Plan: a questionnaire-based career assessment. A diagnostic teaser is provided free of charge; the full Career Plan (market research, skill gap analysis, learning plan, and strategy) is a one-time paid purchase.
  • Insights: free career-related articles and guides.

2. Accounts

Registration. Most features require an account, created with an email address and password or via a third-party sign-in provider (e.g., Google). You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account; notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Age. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live).

One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or trials.

Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

3. Plans, Fees and Payment

3.1 Free plan

The free plan includes limited use of AI-powered features. Current limits are published in our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We may adjust limits as described there.

3.2 Pro subscription

The Pro plan is a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually) with higher usage limits and additional features. Prices and inclusions are shown on our pricing page and at checkout.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and your payment method is charged at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.

3.3 Trials and promotions

We may offer free trials or promotional offers (e.g., introductory pricing or prepaid periods). Specific trial and promo terms are shown at checkout or at the start of the trial. Unless stated otherwise, when a paid trial or prepaid period ends, your subscription continues at the regular price unless you cancel before the renewal date. Promotions may be modified or withdrawn at any time and may not be combined.

3.4 Career Plan (one-time purchase)

The full Career Plan is a one-time purchase, separate from the Pro subscription. A binding contract is formed when you successfully pay through our payment provider. The Career Plan is generated based on your career test responses and made available in your account; we aim to deliver it promptly and in any case within 2 (two) business days after payment.

Immediate performance. By purchasing, you expressly request that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that, once the digital content has been delivered, you lose any statutory right to cancel where the law permits such a waiver for digital content.

3.5 Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also accept Stripe’s terms. We do not store full card details. Taxes (including VAT where applicable) are shown at checkout. Receipts are issued electronically via Stripe.

3.6 Price changes

We may change prices prospectively. For subscriptions, we will notify you before a price change takes effect for your next billing period, and you may cancel before it applies. Changes do not affect completed purchases.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused features.

Career Plan. The Career Plan purchase is non-refundable once generation has begun, except:

  • Late delivery: if the Career Plan is not delivered within 5 (five) business days after payment, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Duplicate charge or technical error: full refund.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded in your jurisdiction. For UK/EU consumers, digital services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, which cannot be disclaimed.

5. Your Content

Ownership. You retain all rights to the content you provide — uploaded resumes, profile details, questionnaire responses, job descriptions you paste, and notes (“Your Content”) — and to the resumes, cover letters, and Career Plans generated for you.

Licence to operate. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to: (i) provide and operate the Service (including transmission to our cloud and AI providers), and (ii) improve the Service internally using aggregated or de-identified analysis. We will not publish Your Content externally without your consent.

Your warranties. You warrant that Your Content is lawful, that you have the right to provide it, and that it does not infringe third-party rights. Do not upload personal data of other people unless you are authorised to do so.

Accuracy of inputs. The quality of AI-generated output depends on the accuracy and completeness of Your Content. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of any resume, cover letter, or other material you submit to employers or third parties.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, paywalls, or access controls (including by creating multiple accounts);
  • access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers) or resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service;
  • reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service, its security, or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to elicit content from our AI features that violates our AI providers’ acceptable use policies (we use Google Gemini via API);
  • upload malware or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section (see Section 11).

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses large language models (currently Google Gemini) to parse, analyse, and generate content. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. You must review and verify all AI-generated content — including resumes, cover letters, match scores, and Career Plans — before relying on it or sending it to employers or any third party.

We do not guarantee that any resume will pass any applicant tracking system (ATS), that match scores reflect actual employer evaluation, or that use of the Service will result in interviews, offers, employment, or any career outcome.

8. No Professional Advice

All content provided by the Service, including the Career Plan, is informational only and is not career counselling, medical, legal, financial, psychotherapy, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions; consult qualified professionals as needed. The Service is not for emergency or high-risk situations.

9. Intellectual Property

Mirrai IP. All rights in the Service, website, software, resume templates, brand, and content we create remain with Mirrai or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Mirrai IP except as permitted by these Terms or with our written permission.

Insights content. Articles on our blog are for personal use; you may share links but may not republish content without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party providers including, without limitation: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Google Cloud / Gemini (infrastructure and AI), Cloudflare (hosting, security, CDN), Tally.so (career test questionnaire), and Resend (email delivery). We do not guarantee third-party performance, and their terms apply to your use of their services (e.g., Stripe checkout, Google sign-in).

11. Suspension, Termination, Discontinuation

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) for material or repeated violations of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, non-payment, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give you a chance to export your data first.

By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Discontinuation. We may modify or discontinue the Service or any feature for operational reasons. If we discontinue a paid feature and cannot fulfil what you have prepaid for, we will issue pro-rata refunds for the undelivered portion.

12. Disclaimers

The Service and all content (including AI-generated content) are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. The Service is under active development and may change or experience downtime. However, we do not exclude or limit any mandatory consumer protections (e.g., the UK requirement to perform services with reasonable care and skill) or liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or £50 if you have paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of employment opportunities, or loss of data. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-excludable liabilities.

14. Governing Law & Consumers in Other Jurisdictions

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you retain any mandatory rights under local law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the “Last Updated” date reflects the effective date. For material changes, we will give reasonable advance notice (e.g., by email or in-app notice). Continuing to use the Service after updates take effect means you accept the changes; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and, for subscriptions, cancel before the change applies.
