Purpose  The Senior Associate will report directly to the Practice Lead, collaborating with other subject matter experts to consult with clients, perform examinations and testing, and prepare technical reports in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Responsibilities * Perform site examinations and document reviews; communicate findings clearly to colleagues and clients. * Report to the Civil/Structural Team and work closely with the Practice Lead on performance, professional development, and team goals. * Prepare structural calculations, simulations, and technical drawings from field measurements, sketches, and other data. * Prepare technical reports and drawings based on sound investigation and analysis. * Manage client service deadlines, budgets, invoicing, and accounts receivable efficiently. * Liaise directly with clients, providing regular updates throughout investigations. * Demonstrate commitment to the firm’s mission, vision, and values. * Participate in business development and marketing activities; attend industry seminars and events. * Manage projects in line with billing and reporting requirements, including client-based MSAs. * Work collaboratively across teams and disciplines. * Develop toward providing expert testimony in court. Requirements * 5+ years of relevant experience. * Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). * Excellent technical writing skills. * Strong presentation skills (asset). * Valid Canadian driver’s license. * Willing and able to travel throughout Canada.
