The Role We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) where you will support outbound sales teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research. BDRs consistently make a tangible impact in the Sales Development Organization by generating millions of dollars of new business pipelines each year.  What You’ll Do * Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities * Nurture early-stage opportunities * Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing BT customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory * Partner with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas * Identify key decision makers within new accounts * Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience  * Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in BT  * Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities   * Enter prospect information into Salesforce.   * Enhance product knowledge through regularly attending training sessions. * Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue. What You’ll Bring * 1-2 years experience in business development, lead generation, sales or related field experience  * Ability to work in a fast paced environment. You think out-of-the-box and wow people with your interesting angles and quality work  * Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of net-new and existing install  * Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment  * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders * Personality to establish and maintain strong relationships with sales teams you support and become a valued partner to them. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and maximize efficiency. * Effective listener to understand prospect needs. * Strong organizational skills.  * Strong desire to be in technology sales  * Strong problem-solving skills  * High energy and positive attitude  * Ability to take initiative  * Solid phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills  Nice To Have * Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool  * Familiarity with Software/Cybersecurity  Better Together Diversity.
