Bond Industries, a subsidiary of AWP is looking for reliable people to join our growing team!    For over 40 years, Bond Industries has been a trusted name in the design and  manufacture of medical, retail, and fitness furniture serving multiple industries with high-quality and custom fixture and furniture solutions.   We are looking for dedicated and skilled workers to join our team immediately!  Successful applicants will be reliable, have their own transportation and be available for shifts starting 6AM.    ROLE SUMMARY Reporting to the Millwork Production Manager, the Production Worker - Carpenter performs skilled labour, material handling, tool work and assembly duties involved in the manufacture of custom retail fixtures. This is a full-time position at our facility in Campbell Heights, Surrey BC.  Shift will be 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing * Operate woodworking machines including saws, milling and sanding machines safely and efficiently * Ensure that products meet project specifications, making adjustments as necessary Perform general labour tasks, including clean-up duties and materials handling * Read and interpret basic drawings or production instructions * Assemble products according to specifications * Maintain company's quality, safety, and productivity standards * Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg) as required * Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management   QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent * Post secondary training or apprenticeship hours in carpentry * 3-5 years of experience in woodworking * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23kg) * Positive attitude and team-first mindset * Ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and work under pressure * Detail-oriented with basic math and problem-solving skills * Good verbal communications skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: * Competitive wages  * Comprehensive Health & Dental Benefits  * Free on-site parking * Supportive team environment and growth opportunities.     HOW TO APPLY: We thank you for your interest in this position.
