THE OPPORTUNITY: Poppy & Peonies is looking for a performance-driven, brand-savvy Director of Digital Marketing to lead customer acquisition, paid media, and digital growth strategy across all channels. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll own how new customers discover and engage with the brand, driving scalable growth while protecting and elevating the Poppy & Peonies brand experience. You’ll lead digital marketing strategy across paid social, search, affiliate, and media buying while partnering closely with creative and ecommerce teams to deliver cohesive campaigns that drive measurable growth. PAID MEDIA & CUSTOMER ACQUISITION * Own and evolve the paid digital marketing strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, and emerging acquisition channels * Own and lead relationships with paid media agency * Own the key acquisitions metrics and outcomes  * Manage and optimize acquisition budgets with a strong focus on efficiency, scalability, and return on ad spend * Lead full-funnel media planning across prospecting, retargeting, and campaign amplification initiatives * Identify new customer acquisition opportunities, audience strategies, and growth channels that support long-term scale * Partner closely with creative teams to develop high-performing paid assets aligned with brand standards and campaign goals * Monitor and optimize acquisition metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, and new customer growth PERFORMANCE MARKETING & GROWTH STRATEGY * Develop integrated digital growth strategies that support revenue targets, launches, and seasonal campaigns * Lead testing strategies across creative, landing pages, messaging, audience segmentation, and media buying tactics * Build audience targeting strategies to improve acquisition efficiency and campaign performance * Partner cross-functionally to ensure cohesive campaign execution across marketing channels without directly owning retention channels * Identify opportunities to improve attribution, forecasting, and media mix effectiveness ANALYTICS & REPORTING * Own digital marketing reporting and communicate channel performance, insights, and growth opportunities to leadership * Build dashboards and forecasting models that provide visibility into acquisition efficiency and marketing contribution * Analyze campaign performance, customer acquisition trends, and channel data to inform future investment decisions * Champion a culture of testing, optimization, and performance accountability across the digital marketing function LEADERSHIP & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION * Collaborate closely with creative, ecommerce, finance, and leadership teams to align marketing strategies with broader business goals * Represent digital marketing in leadership discussions, bringing a clear perspective on growth opportunities and investment priorities * Lead and mentor team members, agencies, and external partners with clarity and accountability * Foster a culture of agility, experimentation, and thoughtful decision-making across the marketing organization WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Proven experience leading digital marketing and customer acquisition within a direct-to-consumer, retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand Deep expertise across paid social, paid search, media buying, and performance marketing strategy Strong understanding of attribution, analytics, and customer acquisition metrics Hands-on experience with advertising platforms, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and related tools Track record of scaling revenue and customer growth through data-driven acquisition strategies Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or external marketing partners Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights Highly organized and comfortable balancing strategy with execution in a fast-moving environment A builder mentality with excitement for ownership, experimentation, and scaling growth responsibly Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative, ecommerce, and leadership teams Genuine interest in fashion, lifestyle, and community-driven brands THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS: * Video screen with Niamh, Talent Advisor from Bloom * Video Interview with Megan (Director of Finance and Business Operations of Poppy & Peonies) * Take Home Assignment * Second Video Interview with Natalie Dusome (Co-Founder of Poppy & Peonies) * Reference checks * Offer   Applications will be accepted through the end of June. LOCATION * We’re seeking an exceptional candidate based in the US or Canada who values the flexibility of remote work while embracing the excitement of in-person experiences. * There will be occasional domestic and/or international travel for photoshoots, events, and team retreats.  SALARY AND TOTAL REWARDS * Annual Salary ranges from $150,000- $185,000  * Performance bonus * 3 weeks of paid vacation per year * Health benefits coverage * $250 annual period & menstrual budget * $1,000 annual allowance towards Poppy & Peonies product  * $400 home office setup allowance All compensation and benefit amounts are reflected in local currency (CAD/USD) where applicable.   At Bloom, we see conversations around compensation as a continuous discussion.
