Your Role:   This role is position is for an experienced trading operations manager with automated trading and middle and back office experience. This includes * leading our US spot exchange operations (Alpaca Crypto LLC) * leading our Bahamas spot and derivatives exchange operations (AlpacaX Crypto Limited) * building and maintaining our internal trading desk   Things You Get To Do:    You will build and manage a globally distributed team of trade ops associates providing 24/5 service coverage.   You and your team: * Directly engage with our customers, providing a world-class service * Review, identify and resolve trade differences * Process trade corrections and cancellations * Inventory account reconciliation * Provide input into new procedures and processes as well as revisions to existing operations procedures and processes * Manage our trading desk (internal market maker) and work with engineering to build and monitor trading systems performing automated hedging strategies * Manage our global fiat banking relationships * Maintain relationships with liquidity providers, token projects and all our vendors * Assist with financial and regulatory audits * Work closely with engineering to bring industry-leading crypto products to market   Who You Are (Must-Haves):   * Experienced running middle/back office trade operations for a brokerage or crypto exchange * Built and managed a globally distributed customer service focused team providing world-class 24/5 service coverage * Experience trading crypto professionally * Experience in US crypto regulations   Who You Might Be (Nice-To-Haves):   * Quant research or have previously run a trading desk * Entrepreneurial experience as co-founder / founding team of a startup * Operated within a SOC 1/2 Type 2 certified environment HOW WE TAKE CARE OF YOU: * Competitive Salary & Stock Options * Health Benefits * New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500 * Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
