For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM ABM 2025 Employee Benefits (Frontline) | Programa de Beneficios de ABM (2025) BASIC FUNCTION: * Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers. * Works directly with building staff and supervisors to help keep the facility clean, safe, and operational. * Performs general facility maintenance and basic repairs under supervision. * Assists with minor repairs to building equipment and systems. * Helps ensure client satisfaction. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists with basic maintenance and upkeep of building systems and equipment. * Performs general maintenance duties such as light fixture replacement, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting. * Uses hand and power tools safely to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks. * Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor. * Learns to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed. * Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe. * Assists with basic upkeep of lighting and other building components as directed. * Records basic maintenance activity in building logbooks. * Assists with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall repair, and general cleanup tasks. * Helps maintain maintenance inventory and notifies supervisor when supplies are running low. * Assists in emergencies as needed and under supervisor direction. * Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition. * Participates in training directed at job-related skills and safety compliance.
