We're early, we're moving fast, and we're just getting started. About the role In New Verticals, you are the driving force behind Garage’s expansion into new markets. You will fuel the growth of Garage by driving sales, building customer relationships, and taking on the operational work needed to launch and grow new verticals. You will work cross-functionally with growth, operations, product, engineering, and leadership in this role. You’ll wear multiple hats and work closely with customers to understand their needs, close new business, and help ensure the success of each new market. You will learn what it’s like to be on the ground floor of building and scaling a new business within a fast-growing startup. In this role, you will: * Strategize and implement initiatives to drive Garage's expansion into new verticals by developing market-entry strategies, building customer relationships, and closing new business * Become a trusted subject matter expert in Garage’s new markets * Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities * Tackle a wide range of operational tasks to ‘keep the planes flying’ * Act as an advocate for Garage’s brand, representing our company’s vision and values to current and prospective partners * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service We're looking for someone who: * Loves the energy of a high-growth environment where every day looks a little different * You have good judgement, high integrity, and a no-task-too-small mindset Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university * 2+ years of experience in startup sales, investment banking, consulting, ex-Founders, working at a startup, business development, or related roles * Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, detect insights, and implement solutions quickly * Exceptional organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders * Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments, and proactively takes on tasks * Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks YOU COULD WORK ANYWHERE, SO WHY GARAGE? * We’ve grown revenue over 10x in the last year and are well capitalized after a recent $13.5M Series A ($18M in funding raised total). * Our product is something people use everyday to buy the equipment local communities everywhere depend on. * We have a talent-dense, high-performance team where everyone joining now has an outsized impact. * What we’ve built works.
