SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: * Rooming patients and updating patient information into EMR system * Accurately obtaining chief complaint * Transcribing for providers during exams * Assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures * Administering local anesthesia * Educating patients on treatment plans * Managing patient prescriptions/pathology/labs * Assisting with cosmetic procedures * Stocking rooms with necessary supplies * Sanitizing all work areas throughout the day and after each patient * Following through with individual side tasks APPLICANT CHARACTERISTICS WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * Dependable and punctual * Prefers a fast pace work environment * Excels in team atmosphere * Well-organized with attention to detail * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work * Empathetic with patient needs and concerns EXPERIENCE: * College-level human A&P: 1 year (Plus) * Medical Assisting: 1 year (Plus) LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: * Certified Medical Assistant Certification (Plus)
