The facility features three active operating rooms specializing in Orthopedic Hand, General Surgery, and Neuro-Spine procedures. This collaboration fosters a culture where both patients and staff can thrive. Role Summary: The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate in the operating room. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the perioperative process. Hours: * Monday–Friday schedule, hours variable * No nights, weekends, holidays, or call What You’ll Do: * Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures * Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environment * Accurately assess patient needs, provide reassurance, and involve families in care decisions when appropriate * Collaborate with the surgical team and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues * Support patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives * Participate in staff education, orientation, and professional development * Organize and manage supplies, equipment, and staff for effective case management What You’ll Bring: * Active RN license * Current BLS and ACLS certification * Associate’s degree or higher in nursing * Perioperative nursing experience preferred * Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-advocacy skills Physical & Work Environment Requirements: * Frequent standing, walking, and lifting * Occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing * Regular interaction with patients of all ages in a fast-paced surgical environment * Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs) and meet physical demands of the role Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications) * Healthcare benefits package * 401(k) with company match * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Supportive, collaborative, and growing environment Why Compass Surgical Partners?
