Académie Lafayette is seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Service Cashier to join our team at our Oak Campus. Schedule This is a part-time position with two daily shifts: * 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. * 10:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Compensation $20.00 per hour Key Responsibilities * Accurately ring up student and staff lunches in a timely and efficient manner * Assist with meal service setup and cleanup before and after each service period * Ensure that all unused trays are properly accounted for and returned at the conclusion of each service period * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming food service environment * Provide friendly, positive interactions with students and staff throughout the service period * Follow all food service policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines Qualifications * Prior cashier or food service experience preferred but not required * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Friendly, professional, and dependable * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks including lifting trays and supplies * Must pass a background check and Missouri Family Care Safety Registry screening prior to beginning work
