Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal: We are actively searching for a New York Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal that has a wealth of experience in both pre-litigation and litigation phases. As a PI Litigation Paralegal, you will: Responsibilities: * Manage a high-volume plaintiff personal injury caseload during the litigation phase. * Draft litigation documents including pleadings, Bills of Particulars, discovery responses, authorizations, stipulations, motions, and other case-related filings. * Prepare, file, and serve legal documents through NYSCEF while ensuring compliance with New York court rules and filing deadlines. * Coordinate depositions, court conferences, independent medical examinations (IMEs), mediations, arbitrations, and other litigation-related proceedings. * Review, organize, and maintain medical records, medical billing, employment records, insurance documentation, and other case materials. * Prepare medical chronologies, deposition summaries, document indexes, and attorney case materials. * Monitor litigation deadlines, maintain accurate case calendars, and proactively follow up on outstanding discovery and case requirements. * Communicate regularly with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, expert witnesses, and court reporting services regarding case progression. * Organize electronic case files and ensure all litigation documents are accurately maintained within the firm's case management system. * Assist attorneys with case preparation for depositions, settlement conferences, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings. * Perform additional litigation support responsibilities as assigned.   Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal. * Proficiency in legal software such as Litify, eCourts, and legal databases. * Excellent written communication skills. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Strong analytical skills. * Effective time management abilities. * Demonstrated team collaboration experience. * Professional interpersonal communication skills. * Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and technologies. * Commitment to upholding ethical standards. * Strong organizational skills. * Basic understanding of legal research methodologies. * Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies or legal assistance. Compensation Range: $80,000—$85,000 USD Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
