Position Overview The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality results. This role supports physicians and radiologists by providing accurate imaging essential to diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities * Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols * Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images * Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures * Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to support accurate diagnosis * Provide imaging services across multiple settings, including Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside exams * Maintain imaging equipment and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards * Educate patients on procedures to promote understanding and ease concerns Minimum Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program * Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) * Current CPR certification * Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Core Competencies * Strong technical and imaging skills * Attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy * Excellent patient care and communication skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Professionalism and accountability Schedule & Work Expectations * Flexible schedule (Sunday–Saturday; varies based on departmental needs) * Participation in on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Comprehensive benefits begin the first of the month following employment, in accordance with hospital policy.
