Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Environmental Technician will perform a variety of duties involving removal, transportation, loading, and disposal of all types of asbestos materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work within duties and requirements of the Company Management Plan. * Collection and packaging of waste from different waste generators. * Dismantling, packaging of waste and decontamination of related areas. * Proper use and maintenance of personal protection and decontamination equipment. * Loading of waste onto containers in preparation for shipment. * Proper labelling of waste and containers. * Collection of consumables required for use on site operations. * Proper use of company vehicles and equipment. * Any other tasks that may be required for the day-to-day operations of the company.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & ATTRIBUTES: * Good level of spoken English  Preference will be given to candidates who hold any of the following: * Valid Maltese or EU Category B Driving License * Forklift Driving License * Cherry picker License
