Position Overview As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including: * Hyperscale Data Centers * Mission Critical Facilities * Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities * Distribution Centers * Large Commercial Projects You’ll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success. Key Responsibilities * Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents * Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates * Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews * Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing * Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams * Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts * Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects * Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies * Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners * Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems Qualifications Preferred Experience * 4+ years of electrical estimating experience * Experience in: * Mission Critical / Data Centers * Industrial Construction * Large Commercial Construction * Design-Build Projects * Fast-Track Construction Environments Technical Skills * Accubid or similar estimating software * Bluebeam * Microsoft Excel * Blueprint and specification interpretation * Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems Professional Skills * Strong communication and collaboration abilities * High attention to detail and organization * Strategic and analytical thinking * Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset Requirements * High School Diploma or GED required * Post-secondary education or industry certifications preferred * Valid Driver’s License * Ability to pass background check and drug screening What You’ll Find at Ace ✔ Strong backlog and long-term project stability ✔ Career growth opportunities with one of the nation’s top electrical contractors ✔ Large, complex, high-visibility projects ✔ Collaborative leadership team ✔ Safety and people-focused culture ✔ Opportunities to support major mission critical growth initiatives ✔ Competitive compensation and benefits package Our Mission To Identify, Hire, Train, and Retain the Very Best People.
