WHAT THE ROLE IS Reporting to the Manager, Operations IT, the Senior IT Systems Specialist designs, implements, administers, and supports Clearway’s Operational IT systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance existing systems and contribute to the team and organization’s continuous improvement objectives This hybrid role will be located in our Scottsdale, AZ office. If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Participate in the implementation of technical solutions for Business Operations * Coordinate to identify, prioritize, and manage Operations IT projects and technology tasks * Develop procedures, processes, and applications necessary to provide safe and secure operations systems that meet reliability and regulatory standards * Proactively recognize and document business process gaps, propose and implement improvements * Provide support for System Operators and Generation Dispatch, and Power Marketing personnel * Effectively apply appropriate project and development methodology and follow project and development standards * Minimize and manage exposure and risk on project and production tasks * Maintain appropriate status reports and meeting minutes, and follow up with business partners, vendors, and internal resources. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Power Systems Engineering required * 3+ years of systems and applications development, configuration, implementation, and support experience required * 3+ years’ experience with an array of software development technologies required * 3+ years’ experience with power systems-related applications in power generation or distribution required * 3+ years of experience with SCADA/EMS/GMS systems required (example: ABB Ranger/Network Manager, OSI Monarch) * Must know interfaces, integrations, and process flows * Solid understanding of SDLC and experience in adopting and working in multiple project management methodologies * Intermediate level skills in implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining complex large-scale production-critical applications in Cloud and data center-hosted environments * Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with a strong focus on customer interaction, customer service, and presentation * A motivated self-starter with the capability to operate on their own with little direction and/or monitoring * Capability to help deliver quality business solutions within restricted timelines while appropriately communicating/escalating risks, issues, or constraints as necessary to business and/or IT management * Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, business partners, and other departments * Ability to effectively prioritize organizational skills to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial * Ability to read the communication styles of team members, business partners, and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines and change the delivery of communication accordingly. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
