WHAT YOU’LL DO * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications supporting Capital Markets platforms and business functions * Customize and configure Murex components, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting solutions, and integrations * Develop and support real-time and batch integrations between Murex and upstream/downstream systems * Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions * Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions * Optimize application and database performance through effective design and tuning strategies * Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation * Identify opportunities to automate development and operational processes through AI-enabled solutions * Contribute to technical discussions and best practices related to architecture, integration, and system scalability  WHAT YOU BRING * Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including object-oriented design, multithreading, collections, performance optimization, and enterprise application development * Extensive experience working with Murex across one or more functional areas, including Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Integration * Experience with Murex customization and configuration, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting, and integration development * Strong understanding of Capital Markets products including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, and structured products * Experience designing and developing real-time and batch integrations between Murex and external systems * Proficiency with SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL * Experience tuning and optimizing complex database queries * Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery methodologies * Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions * Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar platforms * Ability to identify and implement opportunities for AI-driven automation across software development, testing, code quality, and operational processes * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams  NICE TO HAVE * Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native application development * Familiarity with APIs and microservices architectures * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes * Exposure to large-scale financial systems and enterprise integration environments  ENGLISH LEVEL Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate LEGAL & HIRING INFORMATION * Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more * Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions * Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
