THE ROLE We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Analyst, Growth Finance (International) based in Ireland to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Growth Finance and FP&A, you will have direct responsibility for the preparation of budgets and forecasts for assigned geographies, working closely with the European and Asia Pacific teams to monitor performance and translate data into actionable insights that drive regional growth. This is not just a traditional finance role. We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about the transformative potential of AI and automation in finance. You don't need to be a technical expert, but you should have a working familiarity with AI tools, a hunger to learn, and the vision to apply emerging capabilities to improve forecasting accuracy, accelerate analysis, and surface insights faster than ever before. The Growth Finance team leads the development of the overall budget, rolling forecast, mid- to long-range planning, and financial assessment of investment opportunities. This role will provide dedicated financial support to the Growth Marketing teams, own forecasting and reporting of key KPIs, and drive monthly variance reporting — increasingly leveraging AI-powered tools to do so more efficiently. You will partner closely with Marketing, Analytics, and the broader Finance team.   WHAT YOU’LL DO * Prepare International regional budgets from the ground up, partnering with business leaders across customer acquisition and retention. * Analyze data to develop actionable insights that drive acquisition and retention performance in partnership with the International regional leaders, leveraging AI tools to surface patterns and anomalies at scale. * Prepare all materials for the Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews. * Own, manage and improve core Growth Finance planning tools including the EU revenue model, retention model, and acquisition and retention dashboards — identifying opportunities to integrate AI-driven forecasting and automation. * Build and maintain detailed, dynamic financial models to inform monthly forecasts, budgeting and planning across the P&L, investment evaluation and prioritisation, and operational decision-making. * Partner with and support the International Business team by tracking performance, providing financial modelling support, and identifying risks and opportunities. * Analyse operational processes connected to each accounting period close, including accruals, variance analysis, management reporting, and model recalibrations as necessary. * Prepare monthly variance analysis and deep-dive performance reviews to improve forecasting accuracy. * Partner with FP&A teammates to provide data for the consolidated model and support the building of monthly and quarterly leadership presentations. * Proactively research and resolve financial enquiries, issues, and ad-hoc requests as needed. * Champion the use of AI and automation to streamline and continuously improve all FP&A processes — acting as a catalyst for smarter, faster ways of working across the Finance team.   WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * 2+ years of prior experience in Finance with an ecommerce business and FP&A environment (prior experience at a high-growth start-up is a plus). * Strong grasp of key Growth Finance concepts such as conversion funnel, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, and more. * Financial modelling skills and a very high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including model architecture, formula efficiency, and pivot tables. * Experience with NetSuite ERP and/or Adaptive is highly preferred; familiarity with finance planning tools is a plus. * Familiarity with EU business operations and specific local rules. Fluency in English. * A genuine appetite to embrace AI tools as a core part of how you work — you don't need to be an expert, but you should be actively curious and willing to experiment. * Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) in a professional or analytical context to improve productivity, analysis quality, or reporting. * An understanding of where AI can add value in finance workflows — from automating repetitive tasks to enhancing forecasting, generating commentary, or accelerating data analysis. * Comfort working with and evaluating AI-generated outputs critically, knowing when to trust, refine, or question the results. * A forward-looking mindset: you see AI not as a threat but as a force-multiplier that elevates what great finance professionals can achieve. * Excitement to be part of building new processes in a fast-paced environment; comfortable working remotely in an organisation with a global footprint. * Intellectual curiosity and ability to switch gears in a dynamic environment. * Natural inquisitiveness to deeply understand the drivers and variances of business operations. * A proactive approach to setting and achieving goals, and communicating progress and findings. * Ability to analyse large data sets to gain business insights that support decision-making and forecasting. * Strong time-management and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability. * Acute attention to detail and accuracy, with a desire to take ownership in a results-oriented environment. * Impeccable organisational skills with strong communication abilities, including a proven ability to effectively communicate with executives and senior leadership. * Proven partnership capabilities and ability to influence cross-functionally to achieve optimum results. * A no-compromises approach to the quality of your work and always a team player to support the quality of the Finance team's work.   AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is €50,000.00 - €67,000.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
