The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for balancing customer demand, production planning, and material supply to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role coordinates across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels and service performance. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Demand & Forecast Alignment ● Analyze demand forecasts and historical trends ● Collaborate with sales and demand planning to validate forecasts ● Identify risks (shortages, excess inventory, seasonality) Production & Build Planning ● Develop and maintain production schedules ● Align manufacturing capacity with demand requirements ● Coordinate with operations on constraints and priorities Supply Materials Planning ● Plan and release purchase orders for raw materials/components ● Manage supplier schedules and lead times ● Monitor inventory levels and adjust safety stock as needed Cross-Functional Coordination ● Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and finance ● Support S&OP / SIOP processes ● Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans Performance Continuous Improvement ● Track KPIs (service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy) ● Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency Other ● Assist department with tasks as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Required: ● Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related) ● 2–5+ years of supply chain, planning, or manufacturing experience ● Strong Excel, Google Docs, and data analysis skills Preferred: ● Netsuite experience ● APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) ● Experience in manufacturing environment Key Skills ● Analytical thinking ● Proactive ability to evaluate and apply AI solutions to improve work processes ● Problem-solving under constraints ● Communication across teams ● Attention to detail ● Ability to manage multiple priorities This salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on the selected candidate's qualifications, market data/ranges, location, and internal equity.
