Primary Purpose of Role The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide tax compliance services to a mix of clients and gain greater exposure to advisory and consultancy work deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients. This role will also provide assistance to the managers and partners in both compliance and advisory client work. Key Duties: * Managing your own portfolio of clients, being the main point of contact for all queries. * Preparation of and peer reviewing personal self-assessment tax returns and associated accounts and claims * Dealing with HMRC enquiries, penalty notices etc. * Advising on day-to-day tax queries such as PAYE codes, tax efficient company cars etc. * Supporting the managers and partners with tax planning for individuals. * Preparation of GP Type 1 and Type 2 superannuation certificates and assisting with queries from PCSE throughout the year. * Coach and mentor junior members of the team to ensure compliance and service delivery, providing technical assistance to other team members where needed. * Encourage equality and diversity amongst teams.   Skills and Experience  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders * Interpersonal relationship building * Excellent attention to detail * Analytical outlook, questioning where needed * Able to prioritise own workload * Can work to deadlines * Effective time management * Is comfortable working independently * Can show accuracy in technical work delivered * Can work and adapt work around technology * Can demonstrate an ability to innovate and share ideas * ATT or qualified by experience
