We are looking for dynamic bar backs who are self-motivated, dedicated, and have a strong passion for food and beverage! We seek enthusiastic, ambitious and humble staff that want to be a part of the Lanai culture.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, efficient, energetic and thoughtful service at all times. * Support bar team with ongoing bar and back bar maintenance. * Respond appropriately to any guest requests or issues by communicating effectively with the proper bartender or management. * Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware. * Receive instructions from multiple sources and prioritize tasks effectively. * Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure the satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service. * Have the ability to recite basic menu knowledge and run food to tables if needed. * Stock, organize and prepare bar related and service-related items. * Participating in bar prep work as directed by the bar manager and bartenders. * Be knowledgeable of the restaurant and its history. * Restocks stations continually with ice, beer, spirits, and wine. * Run dishwasher and polish glassware. * Communicate respectfully with coworkers at all levels. * Adhere to grooming and dress code standards. * Communication and multi-tasking abilities. * Stamina, energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Teamwork and attention to detail. * Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. * Stand for long periods of time. * Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative attitude. * Must possess exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. * Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback. * Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.   WHO WE ARE We believe in living our values, some of which are: * Without integrity, all else fails. * We believe in the ongoing training and development of our staff, and see it as a worthy investment in the future of the company. * Without creativity, there is no innovation. * We believe that only a happy and professional staff can give the level of personal service we demand. * We believe in providing legendary service – the unique and powerful sort of personal care and attention that our guests tell stories about. * We expect to work hard, exude professionalism, and have fun in the workplace - simultaneously.   COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS We offer competitive pay.
