The example above works because every bullet has scope and impact, not just tasks. A few things to notice:
- Patient ratios are included (4-6 ICU, 5-7 Med-Surg). This tells the hiring manager your workload capacity instantly.
- Certifications are listed separately and completely. ACLS, PALS, BLS are ATS keywords that get scanned before a human reads anything.
- Numbers everywhere: 99.2% accuracy, 15,000+ administrations, 40% infection reduction, 8 new grads trained, 30-bed unit, 96% satisfaction.
- EHR system named (Epic). Most hospitals use Epic or Cerner. Naming the one you know is a keyword match.
